I've been going through the book of John in my quiet time and was focusing on John 9 this morning. I found some very interesting life lessons today that i thought i would share:
1. Don't look for someone to blame, instead look for what God can do in the situation.
2. Be energetically at work for God.
3. Sometimes it takes mud, grime, and someone spitting in your face to help you finally see the truth.
4. Even when God tells you to do something seemingly ridiculous, do it! You never know what miraculous results will come of it.
5. Always be prepared to give an answer, you never know who will suddenly consider you an expert!
6. Stick to simplicity. God will make clear what you need to know.
7. God listens carefully to anyone who lives in reverence and does his will.
What have you been learning lately?

#13 Television is a drug
This is why i DON'T own a TV. Sadly though, i think this can relate to computers (namely twitter, facebook, myspace etc) too.

#12 Dance
I love dancing. I can have the absolute worst day imaginable and all i have to do is dance for a little bit to get my attitude adjustment that i desperately need. Dancing reminds me to always enjoy life and to find the beauty in all that's going around. With that in mind, here's some gorgeous photos from Jordan Matter. It's a series called "Dancers among us". I hope it inspires you to dance through your week too. :) P.S. Click here if you want to see more of Jordan's work.
